Nadine, known for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to education, died peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by her family. Her loss leaves a deep void in the lives of her students, colleagues, family, and friends, all of whom remember her as a shining light in their lives.

Nadine O’Donoghue was born on August 15, 1980, in Tullamore, County Offaly. From a young age, she displayed a passion for learning and a genuine desire to help others succeed. Her enthusiasm for education was evident early on, and she dedicated herself to becoming a teacher to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. Her commitment to her students and her community was unwavering, and she touched many lives through her work in education.

After completing her secondary education at Tullamore College, Nadine pursued her studies at University College Dublin, where she earned a degree in Education. Her love for teaching grew stronger during her university years, and she dedicated herself to becoming an inspiring and supportive educator. She returned to Tullamore and began her teaching career at Mountmellick National School, where she quickly gained a reputation for her warmth, patience, and innovative teaching methods.
