It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claire Pilgrim, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and cherished member of the Florence, Kentucky community. Claire was born on November 16, 1998, in Dayton, Ohio, and she peacefully departed this life on December 6, 2025, at the age of 27.
Claire’s life was marked by her compassionate spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering kindness. From a young age, she demonstrated a passion for helping others and a zest for life that inspired everyone around her. Growing up in Dayton, Claire was known for her creativity and her love for learning. She excelled academically and was actively involved in community service, always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.
In her teenage years, Claire’s adventurous spirit led her to explore new interests and forge meaningful friendships. She was passionate about art, music, and travel, often spending weekends exploring new places and capturing moments through her camera. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious, and her friends and family cherished her vibrant personality and genuine concern for others.
After graduating from high school, Claire moved to Florence, Kentucky, where she continued to pursue her dreams and build a life filled with purpose and love. She worked in the healthcare field, dedicating herself to making a positive difference in the lives of her patients and colleagues. Claire’s family was the center of her world. She was a devoted daughter to her parents, John and Susan Pilgrim, and a loving sister to her siblings. A memorial service will be held in her honor at the Florence Community Center on December 10, 2025, at 2 p.m., where friends and family can come together to celebrate her life and share their memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to mental health awareness charities to honor Claire’s passion for mental health advocacy.
Claire Pilgrim’s spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, the importance of compassion, and the enduring strength of love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
